ENOVID is a unique antiviral nitric oxide nasal spray (NONS) that showed a 99.9% reduction of respiratory viruses within two minutes when tested in a lab. Speedy 95% Reduction of COVID-19 Viral Load

Results of a phase 2 double blind placebo controlled trial were published May 13, 2021 in the Journal of Infection. The UK trial was carried out on 80 people who were in the early stages of mild infection with COVID-19 and at least four days after the onset of their COVID-19 symptoms. They were divided into two groups. One group received the nitric oxide nasal spray and the other group received a placebo saline nasal spray. Results showed that those who were treated with the nitric oxide nasal spray had a very speedy 95% reduction of their viral load within 24 hours (16 times higher reduction in the treatment group compared to the control) and a 99% reduction of their viral load over a period of 72 hours. Neither group had any significant side effects.

In an interview with Canadian Friends of the Hebrew University from where she had received her MA and PhD in biochemistry, Dr. Gilly Regev stated that the ENOVID nitric oxide nasal spray targets the virus in the nose and upper respiratory passages before the viruses spread down to the lungs. Possible Extra Protection for Grandparents

Our neighbor Miriam (not her real name) had her daughter and three grandchildren visiting for Shabbat. All four of them had signs of having a cold. Both Miriam and her daughter had been twice vaccinated for COVID-19, but neither had received the 3rd booster. However, none of the grandchildren had been vaccinated or had recovered from COVID-19. Miriam’s daughter was absolutely certain that they all only had colds, but Miriam, nearing age 80, was worried that they all could be in the beginning of COVID-19. During this recent 4th wave of COVID-19 in Israel there have been many people who contracted break-through infections in spite of the fact that they had been vaccinated. Conclusion

The research has shown that taking the ENOVID nitric oxide nasal spray is safe to use and may prevent people from contracting COVID-19 or the flu if used before or after they have been to a high-risk place for contracting a viral disease. ENOVID may also hasten recovery in people who are in early stages of mild COVID-19. Unfortunately, there have been break-through infections even in some people who were fully vaccinated, so the nitric oxide nasal spray could possibly be added protection along with social distancing and wearing masks after possible exposure to viral infections from high-risk places.
